Mt. Tabor Park. Meet at the Park entrance (near the corner of SE Salmon St. and SE Taylor Ct., just east of SE 60th Ave. Salmon is south of SE Belmont St.). A good option for newcomers.

Springwater Willamette. Meet in the parking lot at Sellwood Park (on SE Oaks Park Way near the entrance to Oaks Park. Oaks Park is near the east end of the Sellwood Bridge, off SE Tacoma and SE Spokane Sts.)

THPRD Meet at Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation District, 158th and Walker Road (gymnasium building, near the outdoor basketball courts).

Salmon Creek Trail Meet by the restrooms near the Girls Softball Field.  Directions:   http://vancouvergirlssoftball.com/directions/ 

Springwater Trail. Meet at the trailhead parking lot (SE 45th Ave. and Johnson Creek Blvd.)

Duniway Park Track. Meet on the track (on SW Barbur Blvd. - just north of the Metro YMCA).  A good option for beginners.   Optional for members:  join a one or two hour workout coached by Jim Bean, USATF Coach and Oregon Association Racewalk Chair.  Fee is $5 for one hour, $10 for two hours.   

Old Spaghetti Factory. Meet near the Old Spaghetti Factory, SW Moody and SW Bancroft/Lowell.

 

 


Join a Weekday Track Workout!

Join other Racewalkers Northwest members and friends for a weekday track workout! 
Workouts are held May 1 - August 31.

2011
RWNW Grand Prix Competition

RWNW members compete in a series of races, the overall winners are scored with age grading so everyone has a chance to win. 

April 10 - USATF Oregon 10K Racewalk Championship
May 14- Hayward Classic - 5K Racewalk
June 26- Portland Masters Classic - 1 Mile Racewalk
July 9 - State Games of Oregon - 3K Racewalk
August 7 - RWNW Whistle Stop 10K Racewalk

2011 "Predict Your Time" Races!

Think you know your race pace?  Try the  "Predict Your Time" series!  Participants will predict their total race time (no watches allowed during the event).  Whoever comes closest to their predicted time will be the winner! 
(Note - races are unjudged, but please obey the USATF racewalking rules!)
